Singer Solidstar recounts experiences that almost impaired his music Career

Solidstar is one of Nigeria’s prominent artists who thrilled many audiences from the early 2000s to 2020. SolidStar began his music career at the age of 14 when he started playing the drums for his church choir in Aviara. He was discovered a few years later at a music talent show in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State.

Solidstar recounts how he was introduced to a substance called “Ice” in 2021 and how he dealt with addiction to the drug, which almost swayed his music career. The singer gave us great sounds such as Oluchi, Nwa Baby featuring 2baba, Wait featuring Davido, Agogo featuring Bracket, My Body featuring Timaya, and many other big names in the Afrobeat scene.
